Happy Easter 1965

It may have been raining this day. Our Easter finery pictures usually were taken outside, facing into the sun, and invariably involved me squinting.

When did women stop wearing gloves as part of the "dressy" look? And do you miss them?

I remember thinking that they added a look of sophistication, although that word would not have to mind, nor does the word sophistication necessarily equate with attractive.

I suspect I didn't wear gloves more than a year or two after this. The only time I miss them is when I see a bell choir wearing black cold-weather gloves.
