Snap! I got my icon tonight, and NaNoWriMo has now officially closed in Britain. Happy December!
Congratulations to you though. As I said on my blog, I've no idea how anyone with a job etc would manage to do this. I only did it because I'm a stay at home mum and I have a kind husband who let me go crazy typing for the whole month! (Although I think he'll be glad that the cooking and cleaning will resume and the late night typing will end!)
Texugo? Was he charming, devastatingly handsome, and kind to animals?
You know, I never got around to explaining in my novel why I my character's name was Cherly. Maybe anyone who reads it will think I typed it wrong a whole bunch of times.
Sorry, dude. "Burt Texugo was possibly the biggest goon Carson had ever encountered in top management, seeing the people who made his work possible only as replaceable cogs in his finely tuned management machine."

Congratulations, Cheryl!
You have earned the right so gloat away to your heart's content!
Jody :)
Congrats. I didn't finish this year.
Congratulations. Any carnivorous red ducks in your story?
I think one of my favorite parts about winning is being able to check off another box under "Years done Nano" and "Years finished Nano" in my profile.

See you in another year xx
Thank you all, and congratulations yourselves. Even you, Chet - see you in '07, maybe?
No ducks, Jon, but I did name a character Texugo - Portugese for badger.
Jennie, I don't see how anyone can do Nano with kids under foot. I do have a tolerant husband, though.
Jody, interesting hobby you have.
WHOOO HOOO!!!!
